We collect your email address for account creation and authentication. We also store your username, game statistics (games played, games won, scores), and game history. We store your head-to-head gameplay history (games played, wins, and losses against players you have played with). This record is visible only to you and to the specific players you have played with, in the context of your shared match history.
Your information is used solely to operate the Tapo card game — to authenticate you, display your username to other players during active games, and show your personal game statistics within the app.
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication). Game room data is automatically deleted after 7 days. Game history is retained for 30 days.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties.
During an active game, your username is visible to other players in the same room. This is necessary for gameplay.
After a game, your username and your win/loss record against players you have played with may appear in those players' personal Game Stats screen. Only the head-to-head record between you and that specific player is shown — your overall statistics and full game history are never visible to anyone else.
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen within the app. This permanently removes all your data including your email, username, and game history.
